IBM subsidiary Lotus Development on Monday made its foray into content management, rolling out a packaged bundle of products and services.
The Lotus Web Content Management Solution ties together existing Lotus and IBM systems with Aptrix, a suite of distributed Web content management and personalisation products from Sydney maker Presence Online, and consulting services from Andersen.
The suite includes Domino, Domino.doc, Workflow, Sametime, Quickplace and IBM's WebSphere application server, WebSphere Personalization, WebSphere Commerce Suite and Enterprise Information Portal. It will allow businesses to manage online content in their intranet, extranet and the Internet.
Pricing depends upon configuration, ranging from under $US100,000 to $400,000.
