StorageCraft hires veteran to head strategic sales

Paul Harris joins the team as the vendor seeks to expand its local presence

Backup and disaster recovery vendor, StorageCraft, has appointed data storage veteran, Paul Harris, to head strategic sales.

His expertise encompasses 25 years including running the largest storage technologies facility in Australia for Telstra, across four data centres; and built a national storage services practice focused on delivering data management outcomes for one of Australia’s largest systems integrators.

“Paul brings extensive experience both from both sales and customer perspectives, giving him a unique view into what enterprise accounts require,” StorageCraft Asia Pacific vice-president, Greg Wyman, said.

“We are still recruiting - especially entry level sales and inside sales - and have several open headcounts for energetic, enthusiastic and driven salespeople to join one of the fastest growing Australian vendors.”

Wyman said Harris’ ability to present and articulate value proposition to all levels of an organisation would add value to resellers.

“With a diverse extensive background selling, implementing and supporting infrastructure solutions, Paul has been a stalwart of the Australian storage industry for some years.

"He brings to StorageCraft international success with sales and marketing of infrastructure technologies to enterprise customers through the channel,” Wyman said.
