KAZ takes $10m in outsourcing contracts
ASX-listed KAZ Computer Services has renewed several existing outsourcing and support contracts in the past month, worth in excess of $3 million over the next five years. The deals include a facilities management contract for mining giant Alcoa in Western Australia, and a three-year technical and data centre operations support contract for European manufacturing conglomerate Alfa Laval. However, it is a new, $7 million, five-year outsourcing contract with a yet-to-be-named company that has KAZ managing director Peter Kazacos excited. "Such wins are a testament to the counter-cyclical nature of the outsourcing industry," he said.eOne wins Exonet awardeOne Integrated Business Solutions has taken out Exonet's first Developer of the Year award for its Sales Order Workflow application. Exonet presents the award to business partners showing excellence in developing applications that integrate with and support the vendor's SME accounting software. eOne has over 200 users for its Sales Order Tracking module, including a leading Harley Davidson Australian importer, which integrated it with Exonet's latest version, Exonet 6. The application provides VIN (vehicle identification number) tracking, sales and financials for the importer.
Realtech has finger on the Pulse
Vendor Esker Software has signed a partnership agreement with Realtech that will see Realtech deliver the electronic document delivery vendor's Pulse product to the local SAP market. Under the terms of the agreement, Esker will provide the product expertise and sales support while Realtech, Australia's first mySAP.com service provider, will manage the technical infrastructure specific to SAP sites. According to Esker, Pulse is the first, single-document delivery solution in Australia to allow users to send and receive documents from any platform via fax, e-mail or SMS, or publish to a secure Web site.
