Datacentre provider, NextDC (ASX:NXT), has been granted a trading halt on the ASX pending an important announcement.
The halt begins today and will be lifted on March 21 unless the ASX decides otherwise.
According to a statement by the ASX, the halt was granted since NextDC was able to provide information to the stock exchange group to prove it was necessary.
ARN is awaiting a response from NextDC CEO, Bevan Slattery.
The company started trading on the ASX in December last year.
Last week, the datacentre provider announced it has acquired a datacentre site in Sydney to fulfil plans of expanding into the capital city.
