Application development software vendor, Telerik, has expanded its operations into Australia and the UK.
The new offices position Telerik in close proximity to its growing customer base, enabling local support and service expertise for its product portfolio and a more proactive promotion of the local developer community.
It already has offices in the US, Canada, Germany and Bulgaria.
“The UK and Australian markets are growing rapidly,” Telerik CEO, Svetozar Georgiev, said in a statement.
“Proximity to our customers means efficient, responsive support to their ever-changing needs, to our partners it means better collaboration and services, and to the developer community it encourages innovation.”
The vendor has appointed Vesselin Vasilev as its local country manager. He will be responsible for marketing, sales and developer community expansion, as well as partnership development.
Vasilev will also responsible for building its technical team.
“The Australian market is expressing great interest in our latest software developer productivity solutions, data conversion tools, automated Web testing tools, and CMS offerings,” he said.
“Our goal is to answer these markets’ needs by broadening our presence, our community and our technical team in this dynamic region.”
Earlier this month, Telerik launched Sitefinity CMS 4.0 Service Pack 1, which includes improved support for network load balancing and specific language cultures to allow flexible localisation options for a customer's website, and a corporate starter kit containing several new widgets and modules.
