M.Tech links up with (ISC)² to extend information security education

To offer both public and tailored in-house classes to its clients

The world’s largest information security professional body and administrators of the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, (ISC)², has appointed M.Tech as an (ISC)² education affiliate for Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines.

M.Tech will offer both public and tailored in-house classes to its clients as part of its consultancy service delivery.

M.Tech, coupled with Bridge Point Training (Bridge Point) in Australia, will offer education to (ISC)² certification candidates.

“... We expect significant growth in (ISC)² credential holders over the next few years and appreciate (ISC)²’s dedication to its credentials, which continue to grow in credibility in information security proficiency within the IT community,” Deputy Managing Director, M.Tech Group, Wilson Ho, said.

“Since Bridge Point hosted the (ISC)² exam in Australia in 2003, we have witnessed not only strong growth of (ISC)² membership in Australia but also the enthusiastic pursuit of an internationally recognized certification by the local information security community. We look forward to collaborating with M.Tech to increase local interest in (ISC)²’s certification programs,” Director, Bridge Point Training, Jodie Siganto, said.

The CISSP is considered the Gold Standard of certifications for experienced management-level information security professionals worldwide, and (ISC)²’s Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) is suitable for experienced cyber security professionals implementing security policy.

M.Tech is part of the Singapore Exchange-Listed Multi-Chem Group. Established in May 2002, M.Tech is a leading regional distributor of IT security in the Asia-Pacific region with a presence in 25 cities in 10 countries.

(ISC)² is the largest not-for-profit membership body of certified information security professionals worldwide, with nearly 75,000 members in more than 135 countries
