Oracle has acquired the IP and business intelligence of certain assets of Melbourne-based partner, Ndevr.
Financial details of the deal haven’t been disclosed.
The acquisition will add environmental reporting and business intelligence capabilities to Oracle’s ERP solutions.
The purchase involved Ndevr’s IP from its environmental reporting tool, allowing organisations to use existing ERP solutions to tap into base financial data, providing accurate energy and emissions reporting.
Since 2008, Ndevr has been providing greenhouse gas (GHG) and environmental solutions for Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Oracle E-Business Suite customers.
Ndevr has been an Oracle partner for more than 10 years.
Now with Ndevr products as a part of Oracle, the vendor said it expected to deliver an improved ability to accurately model, capture, cost, analyse and report on carbon and environmental data.
This transaction is part of Oracle's ongoing commitment to provide best-in-class solutions for environmental compliance and efficiency, delivered as part of the intrinsic business processes of the organisation.
