Networking vendor, Juniper Networks, has hired Mark Iles as its new vice-president of A/NZ.
Iles replaces Shaun Page, who has moved to the US as the vendor’s global vice-president of service provider alliances.
Iles will be responsible for driving significant growth opportunities in the service provider and enterprise markets.
“Having made a number of product and strategy announcements last year, as well as significant acquisitions, Juniper Networks has carried strong momentum into 2011,” Iles said.
Prior to joining Juniper, Iles spent five years as A/NZ CEO, of Centaman Systems. His resume also includes Vodafone, where he was the general manager of business markets, and he held multiple senior management roles during his seven years at Microsoft Australia.
“Mark’s industry experience has given him an intimate understanding of the marketplaces in both A/NZ,” Juniper executive vice-president of worldwide sales, John Morris, said.
