The two local Interactive Intelligence partners to have picked up awards at the vendor’s partner conference are expecting a year of solid momentum and growth.
Tecala was awarded Rookie Partner of the Year. Its director of sales and marketing, Pieter De Gunst, said there was a strong pipeline into 2011, and the new features to be built into the upcoming Version 4 of Interactive Intelligence should see strong growth opportunities.
“We’ve had a good first year with Interactive Intelligence,” De Gunst said. “At the start we made a lot of investment in sales and technical training. This year we plan on doing a lot more marketing.”
CallTime Solutions, meanwhile, picked up four awards – Most Strategic Deal, Most New Customer Acquisitions, Most Software Revenue and Tech Partner of the Year.
CallTime Solutions is a 100 per cent Interactive Intelligence partner, and has dominated the awards for the last few years.
Its general manager, Troy Roberts, said the momentum for Interactive Intelligence really started to ramp through the GFC, and the company is well-poised to capitalise on further growth in 2011.
“We’ve been selling Interactive Intelligence for the past 11 years, and been aggressive in acquiring new customers,” Roberts said. “However, recently we’ve been getting the brand customers, such as the Macquarie Telecoms and iSelects, which has provided us great referenceability.
“We’re planning for more growth. We’ve recruited another five people this year already, we’ve got 30 now, and just opened an office in Queensland with one of those appointments.”
