Information management vendor Aprisma has launched its "Service Level Intelligence" initiative and with it new software designed specifically for the channel, as part of its $7 million investment in the Asia-Pacific to expand its regional presence.
Spectrum xsight is a new management suite designed specifically for the channels market in the Asia-Pacific. According to the vendor, xsight brings a services perspective to the SME market, and is a solution that is simple and scales easily.
"The software doesn't require significant customisation, which is often where you can get into trouble," said Alison Higgins-Miller, Asia-Pacific president for Aprisma. "People want to have an out-of-the-box experience with flexibility."
Aprisma has also announced Infinity, a solution designed for service providers and integrity, for enterprise customers. The products are all part of its Service Level Intelligence (SLI) initiative, by which businesses are ensured critical services and availability.
"These days, in order to get the customers, services providers have to provide an SLI," said director of analyst relations and business marketing Joe Cyr. "Aprisma provides the technology that enables them to do that."
It also protects the existing infrastructure, since the software works with existing CRM solutions. "We are an adjunct. We don't do CRM, but without the integration of our products the solution would not be as effective," Higgins-Miller said.
