The partnership will also generate a new product offering, to be unveiled in the coming weeks, that ShoreTel APAC managing director, Vasili Triant, claimed would account for 10 per cent of the vendor’s revenues.
Already the two have won a joint customer deployment with a local government in Queensland to the value of $200,000.
Triant said the national coverage that NSC could provide, and its ability to target mid- to large enterprises was the driver for building this close association.
ShoreTel has about 50 partners in the local market, but Triant said NSC was the first integrator with such a wide scope.
“There’s a unique match between our two companies around what we’re looking to do out there with our customers,” he said.
“NSC is well know in the UC IP Telephony space, and we’re going to leverage that into the future.”
NSC will be classed as a Gold Partner going forward – ShoreTel’s highest partner certification.
In a release, NSC CEO, Craig Neil, said: “The unique offerings ShoreTel brings to the table have created a new solution in our portfolio. Our partnership has only just gotten underway and we have secured our first major deployment.
"With these new offerings and ShoreTel’s business approach to customer service, NSC Group will continue as ANZ’s leading solutions provider.”
