In a bid to bolster its software development product lines, Dattatech has announced a distribution agreement with Rational Software.
The deal will see the distribution and integration company offer its customers preferential pricing for Rational products. In return, Rational will gain access to Dattatech's nationally established customer base, Client Network System.
"The Rational alliance gives us the opportunity to increase our product offering while at the same time giving us the ability to offer our clients the full range of software development products," Dattatech managing partner Matt Tutaki said.
The distribution agreement represents another piece in the channel company's Global Strategy Puzzle, which Dattatech embarked on six months ago in a bid to round out its product offerings.
Tutaki said there will be other alliances with international vendors as the company strengthens its position in the region.
