60 notebooks stolen from Byron Bay school

Police are appealing for information after Lenovo notebooks, a data projector and cash go missing

Byron Bay police are appealing for public assistance following the theft of more than $30,000 worth of student notebooks from a school last week.

In a statement, police said offenders broke into a high school on Broken Head Rd in Byron Bay, in the early morning on February 2.

After gaining entry, the offenders found their way to the main building of the school before stealing 60 Lenovo student notebooks.

Thieves also stole a data projector and sum of cash.

Byron Bay Police are appealing for anyone with information into the robbery, or who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
