Nokia names South-East Asia-Pacific sales VP

Neil Gordon charged with reversing the fortunes of Nokia

Communications vendor, Nokia, has appointed a new vice-president for sales in South-East Asia Pacific, Neil Gordon.

Gordon takes over from Chris Carr who moved into the role of Nokia general manager of Australia and New Zealand last year.

With experience in the Asia, Middle East Africa and Europe markets, Gordon is now based in Singapore.

“The markets within South-East Asia-Pacific continue to offer tremendous growth potential and I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work with our talented and highly engage team,” Gordon said in a statement. “We are a market leader in mobile communications in this region and I intend to leverage our strengths to further solidify our position in the market, working closely with our customers and business partners, to jointly bring products & solutions that will delight consumers across South-East Asia-Pacific,”

Nokia also named its new Australian sales and retail heads, Steve Lewis and Greg Clark respectively, last November.
