Microsoft picks from within its existing team to replace Australian general manager

Microsoft Australia has picked Pip Marlow as its new general manager, effective immediately. She previously held the position of Enterprise and Partner Group Director and Public Sector Director.

Marlow replaced Tracey Fellows, who was appointed Microsoft Asia Pacific’s area vice president in December 2010. Fellows now resides in Singapore.

Marlow has been with the technology giant for the past 15 years and began her career in the channel. She worked in the US from 1997 to 2004.

“It’s a time of significant change for our industry and Microsoft as businesses and consumers move to the cloud,” she said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to leading an already-strong team to achieve great results for our customers and partners.”
