Hitachi Data Systems has opened a new office in Adelaide and recruited Chris Clarkson as its state manager.
The new office will open on January 3 and will enable it work more closely with partners and customers.
It will be the eighth office for Hitachi in Australia and New Zealand. It already has locations in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth, Auckland and Wellington.
In his newly created role, Clarkson will be responsible for managing and growing Hitachi’s existing partner base in South Australia and will focus on key industries including resources, mining, defence and government.
Prior to joining Hitachi, Clarkson worked for Symantec where he helped manage its South Australian operation.
