SAP Crystal Reports aids converting data into reports while SAP Crystal Presentation Design can be used to make interactive presentations.
Scholastic will be distributing the products to campus bookstores, IT campus resellers and educational software specialists.
“There is a high demand for student editions for the software used in university courses,” Scholastic media and technology manager, Wayne Cooper, said in a statement.
“SAP software is being used in courses ranging from IT and commerce to marketing and business.”
Student edition Crystal Reports will be sold at $100, compared with its normal price of $680. Crystal Presentation Design will be priced at $50, down from $280.
The products will be available from early 2011.
