South Australia-based distributor, Saratoga, has landed an agreement with VoIP and audio software vendor, NCH Software.
Saratoga director, Ivar Stanelis, said even though NCH was an Australian company with offices in Canberra, it began selling its products in the US first.
“They complement our line up because the software does things that the rest of our products don’t,” Stanelis said. “We don’t have a lot of audio and inventory products, so it works well.”
NCH director of business, David Jakober, said Australia was an important market because it was one of the most active multimedia communities, globally.
“We are excited to make our software more broadly available on our home turf to our expanding customer base,” Jakober said.
In other news, Saratoga, is also looking to update its website to allow resellers to purchase online. Stanelis said the updates include a secure payment system and shopping cart.
He estimated it serviced about 3000 resellers.
“We’re trying to diversify into things other than software too. If we keep expanding our range we almost become a one stop shop,” he said.
