CSC's profit falls, but revenue rises

Computer Sciences Corporation reported a US$68.2 million profit for its second quarter ended Sept. 30, down 37 per cent from the year-earlier total of $109 million.

But the IT consulting and outsourcing firm said revenue came in at $2.77 billion, up 11 per cent from $2.5 billion in last year's second quarter. CSC predicted revenue growth of 9 per cent to 11 percent for its full fiscal year.
