NBN Co has delivered its business plan to the Federal Government and Communications Minister, Senator Stephen Conroy.
According to a statement from NBN Co, the “corporate plan” was delivered today. A spokesperson for Minister Conroy confirmed this was the business plan and said some parts of it would be made public “shortly”, but would not provide a timeline.
The statement comes amid pressure from the Opposition to produce a cost-benefit analysis and a 10-year business plan. Although Minister Conroy rejected the idea of providing the details of a business plan before the election, he has since backtracked and promised a partial release.
ARN contacted the office of Shadow Communications Minister, Malcolm Turnbull, which had no comment at the time of publication.
