Ingram gains Kaseya IT Center tools

The vendor has extended the relationship with Ingram to include its IT Center service delivery products

Ingram Micro has extended its relationship with Kaseya, adding its IT Center cloud-based service delivery products to its portfolio.

The latest addition completes the range of Kaseya IT systems management tools including IT Toolkit and IT Workbench, which Ingram also distributes.

IT Center supplies a suite of tools to enable managed services providers to remotely and efficiently manage IT systems. Some its functions include discovery and IT inventory, patch management, help desk and management reporting.

Ingram group product manager, Darren Elsby, said the extended relationship allows Ingram to provide a SaaS-based managed services product for all of its partners whether they’re small resellers or cater for the enterprise customer.

“I’m looking at gaining a number of strong partners that want to work with us to get this product into the market,” Elsby said.

Ingram enterprise technology group director, David Lenz, said the Kaseya range enables partners to supply cloud-based IT services without being required to make an up-front investment.

Ingram and Kaseya first formed a relationship in February. Later in the year it added the vendor’s IT Workbench cloud-based systems management tools.
