Security distributor, Tudor, has signed a distribution deal with Trustwave.
The Chicago-based vendor specialises in products for compliance requirements for online merchants such as Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
Its flagship product is an on-demand compliance management service, TrustKeeper, which detects security flaws at the network perimeter.
According to Tudor, it will be selling the vendor’s entire range of products products alongside its managed security services for “customers with limited resources”. The distributor has exclusive rights over the products but not the services.
Tudor has around 20 resellers under its wing but only a handful of them will be authorised to sell Trustwave’s wares.
“It’s a fairly niche security suite so it’s going to be particularly focused on system integrators that are looking to have solutions in the PCI DSS space or security companies looking to add priducts in consultancy services,” Tudor director, Anton Goldman, said.
The partnership will aid Trustwave in expanding its footprint in Australia, Trustwave Asia-Pacific managing director, Sunil Sharma, said.
