United Electrical Engineering

United Electrical Engineering has announced extended warranties for notebooks for up to three years, covering all parts and labour. UE's warranty include cover for LCDs (typically excluded from manufacturer warranties) and every component except the battery for the entire life of the warranty. UE operates on a return-to-base system (the central workshop is in Sydney) and all costs associated with the repair are borne by UE. This includes parts, labour, courier costs, transit insurance and provision of an aluminium transit case to transport the notebook to the workshop and back to the customer.

Swann Communications

The Swann EzyHub provides additional USB (Universal Serial Bus) ports so you can connect extra devices to your computer. It allows four, low to medium-bandwidth peripherals, including keyboards, mice, modems, scanners. Caprina

Apple's new DVI to ADC Adaptor enables customers to use Apple's award-winning line-up of all-digital, flat-panel displays, with the new PowerBook G4 via its integrated Digital Visual Interface (DVI) port. Compulock

The Compulock AM8 is a steel leash with a high-quality barrel lock that fits onto the notebook's security receptacle on one end and anchors to an immovable object via a loop on the other.
