NEC Australia has retrenched four senior technology managers – and one part-time staffer - as the company moves to restructure its managed services professional services team.
“We have restructured the NEC Managed Services Professional Services team to make it more market facing,” NEC Australia’s general manager of managed services solutions, Alex Gatiragas, said.
“This has meant a realignment of the presales team to focus on customer growth, deliverables for the market and SI work to better deliver solutions and services to our customers.”
Gatiragas stressed the managed services team remains a key area of its business, employing more than 300 people throughout the country.
“The services and solutions business in Australia is one of the key pillars of our success and our focus on the services business will continue unabated as we continue to focus on growth and new business,” he said.
The professional services team in the Network Solutions division is unaffected by this move.
