ASX-listed Vocus Communications (ASX:VOC) will be acquiring the datacentre businesses from E3 Networks.
In a statement to the ASX, it revealed it will pay $5.9 million in total for the acquisition. Both datacentres have be constructed in the last two years, and are expected to add a minimum of $1.5 million in underlying annualised pre-tax profit to Vocus’ bottom line.
The acquisition will see E3 CEO, Jon Eaves, join Vocus as the general managed of its datacentre business.
Vocus CEO, James Spenceley, claimed the acquisition will allow Vocus to provide its customer base with a full service offering at a time where there is significant demand for datacentre resources.
