Networking vendor, Cisco, has appointed Tiffany Wright to head up its distribution business.
She replaces Derville Hannon, who has taken up another role with the vendor as its territory business manager, focusing on key partner engagements.
“She’s targeting specific partners in NSW and working with them to increase their Cisco business,” Cisco director of commercial business, Sara Adams, said.
“Derville’s been in the role for many years, and she was really intrigued by our new model of covering specific partners and wanted to try her hand in that.”
Hannon has been with Cisco for about four years and previously worked at Express Data.
Wright would be responsible for managing its distribution team.
“Additionally we’ve put on three sales resources looking after partners that are managed through distribution as well, based along the eastern seaboard,” Adams said. “These sales reps will help drive distribution initiatives as well.”
Wright has been previously been running Cisco’s internal sales organisation and has been with the vendor for 10 years.
“Now that we’ve put more resources in our distribution area, we’ll be figuring out how we drive more growth through that part of the business and it seemed like a good fit,” she said.
