Apple retailer Next Byte is reaching for the sun, opening two new stores on the Gold Coast.
Next Byte opened the doors to operations at Surfers Paradise and Tweed Heads this week, and hopes to bring its specialty of customer service to the north to complement its Brisbane operation.
The company opened its first store in Adelaide six years ago and has since expanded to include eight stores nationally. Although directors admit the past 12 months have been tough, they maintain the company is in a strong position.
"Next Byte's success can be attributed to its ongoing commitment and focus on personalised customer service and attention to detail, driven by the direction of a strong management team," said co-director Adam Steinhardt.
Next Byte has taken out Apple's Sales Excellence Award each year since the company's inception and offers free training with each new Mac purchase. Sydney-based director Crawford Giles said the new stores will feature the same range of Mac hardware, software and peripheral products as the others.
"We are looking forward to bringing the same attention to detail and service to the new locations," Giles said.
The new stores are located in Bundall and Tweed Heads.
