Consultancy company uses social networking to attract staff

Unique World is looking for business and technical professionals to join its Sydney or Melbourne offices and is offering staff cash incentives for successful hires

Information management consultants, Unique World, is banking on social networks to meet an urgent demand for new professionals, and it’s enlisting the help of existing staff, offering a $2,000 incentive to help them locate new hires.

“Unique World has had a great start to the new financial year, and we’re looking for as many as 18 talented information management and knowledge management professionals to work on exciting new projects with high profile clients,” Unique World CEO, Eddie Geller, said.

“We’ve recruited almost all our new professional staff from online sources during the last year and we expect it to yield results again in this campaign.”

The company is looking for business and technical professionals to join its Sydney or Melbourne offices.

“Instead of paying recruiters, we’ve decided to enlist existing staff to help locate and attract new professionals. We’re calling on them to utilise their social networks to help identify new hires, and we’re offering a cash bonus if they refer a friend or contact that is hired,” he said.

“As these projects grow, we expect to be looking at more jobs in the near future, including a range of support roles. I’m sure we’ll continue to use social networks to find them.”
