Fuji Xerox Printers has appointed its second new distributor since 2003, forming a relationship with Dynamic Supplies.
Dynamic Supplies will open up new business for the vendor, general manager, David Borg, claimed. it will provide a new reseller base that previously found it difficult to access Fuji Xerox products.
The last time the vendor appointed a new distributor was back in 2005, where it partnered with components player, Synnex, to attack the OEM space. It also partners with Ingram Micro, Alloys, BMS Technology and J Mills - distributors it began operations with.
“Over the last years our product range has broadened and our channel mix has changed,” Borg said.
“The regional reach that Dynamic Supplies has, with strong logistics support, is a key benefit of the new partnership.”
The two organisations were in discussions for 12 months previously, Borg added.
“Nothing has changed with the rest of our channel, and we believe the cross-over with our new partner will be minimal. We wanted to make sure of that,” he said.
In a release, Dynamic Supplies managing director, Scott McLennan, said: “We are pleased to be appointed by Fuji Xerox Printers to be their distribution partner in Australia.
"This partnership will open up the availability of consumables for Fuji Xerox printers to a wider market of over 3,000 resellers and suppliers around Australia.
"By having Fuji Xerox as our partner, our resellers will be able to benefit from the continuity of supply and local support that they will be able to provide.”
