M.Tech has been appointed as the first Asia-Pacific distributor for Israeli security firm, Tufin Technologies.
Tufin’s focus is on firewall management. With an ever-increasing number of firewalls on the market, many organisations have multiple vendors deployed within the one environment. Tufin’s value is in consolidating the reporting and management of the multiple firewalls into one instance.
M.Tech represents one security vendor in the firewall space, fellow Israeli vendor Imperva.
M.Tech business manager, Paul Lim, said the two were compatible, and there was a good opportunity for building presence in the market.
“Previously, Tufin dealt through Gold and Silver reseller partners in the market, however its presence was minimal, so they have appointed us as the Asia Pacific distributor to grow the market,” Lim said.
Lim said M.Tech had no intention on partnering with rival products, either to Tufin or in the firewall space to Imperva, saying the distributor preferred to represent one vendor in each product category.
In a release, Tufin regional sales manager, Asia-acific, Lawrence Loh, said: “M.Tech is a strong regional distributor in Australia and has demonstrated excellent results in bringing new technology and products to market and developing the reseller channel for its other portfolio partners.
“We are delighted to be working with such a top-notch partner and together we will enable Australian companies to reap the full financial, operational and business benefits offered by Security Lifecycle Management.”
