Acronis has enhanced its partner portal in a bid to provide better education for resellers.
Hosted by Acronis channel sales and technical specialists, the vendor is running a series of webinars for partners on the portal – at a rate of around one per month.
Acronis A/NZ country manager, Simon Howe, said the webinars were not required material for partners, but were proving to be very popular.
“We’re trying to take advantage of the medium to deliver resources to partners easier,” Howe said.
“We’ve got 500 active partners signed up to the partner portal, and we’ve run three webinar sessions so far – the success of those lead to us building them into a more permanent feature.”
In addition, Acronis has made a number of improvements to its partner portal this year to improve the reseller user experience by adding webinar presentations, sales collateral, marketing campaigns and promotions, as well as technical updates.
The support function of the Partner Portal will also be expanded.
