Adaptec regional manager, Demetri Christodoulou, has been moved to its new parent company, PMC-Sierra, as its Asia-Pacific channel sales manager.
The move comes more than a month after PMC-Sierra completed its takeover of Adaptec's channel storage business for $34 million in cash as well as some associated liabilities.
According to a statement released by the company, Christodoulou will be responsible for the “Adaptec by PMC” product line as well as any others being sold through the channel by PMC.
“He is joined by his old team at Adaptec Australia… so it’s business as usual,” the statement said. “The Adaptec brand and website will continue and product sold by Adaptec will now be known as Adaptec by PMC”.
Other staffers set to move to the parent company include technical storage ‘guru’, Neil Cameron, and marketing manager, Edwin Chong.
