Mid-market managed services provider, Brennan IT, has hired two senior sales staff to support growth and expansion in the new financial year.
Stuart Roberts has been appointed to the newly created position of Victorian sales manager. Roberts previously spent seven years at Dell and has held roles in the solutions group responsible for server, storage and infrastructure consulting sales.
Troy Soutar has become NSW sales manager. Prior to joining the company, Soutar worked for Alphawest as national sales manager of the business solutions group. He has also held senior sales positions at KAZ, Getronics, Powertel and Nomad Solutions.
Brennan general manager of sales and marketing, Stephen Sims, said the new appointments were made to help support the growth of the business. Brennan is anticipating net growth to reach just under 50 per cent, year-on-year.
“It’s a strong result. Managed services has been a key growth area including Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), and managed IT support,” he said.
Brennan has roughly 30 sales staff in the organisation and more positions are available in sales and support.
Sims said his biggest challenge was finding the right staff.
“It’s hard to find good people, everyone is recruiting again and there’s lots of competition in the market,” he said. “We’ve set ourselves some big growth targets this financial year. We’re going to invest more into some more systems because as you grow quickly you need the systems and processes.”
