HP has added five new colour inkjet printers to its business range for high-volume capacity in a networked office environment. The HP 2230, 2280, and 2280tn printers replace HP's 2200, 2250 and 2250tn line-up. They feature faster processing power, double the memory and a new speed-optimised print mode, and can handle up to 10,000 prints per month, according to HP. Page costs for the new inkjets come in at 8.4 cents per page for colour and 2.2 cents for monochrome. HP has also introduced its Business Inkjet 2600 and 2600dn - wide-format colour inkjets that replace the HP 2500C and 2500CM printers. The new offerings feature dual-processor architecture for high-speed colour printing at 11 pages per minute in draft mode or 6ppm in normal print mode on media up to A3+. Prices range from $922 for the Inkjet 2230 printer through to $3,196 for the Inkjet 2600dn. They are available immediately.www.hp.com.
