Business software developer, IPM Global, is ramping up its channel activities in Australia.
Its sister company, Enabling, is a reseller for the developer along with four other channel partners.
“Our software industry is strictly project related so it’s not something that can be sold by a channel partner for generic enterprise resource planning [software],” IPM global director, Reef Fielding, said. “Construction, large engineering, electrical and anybody who deals with projects as well as sells to project-based companies is in our demographic.”
The company also recently jumped the first hurdle in obtaining a Microsoft Dynamics accreditation - the highest standard for partner-developed software - after passing a software solutions test set by the software giant.
“We had to produce a product and send it off to the VeriTest centre in the UK and that product had to be fully documented,” Fielding said. “Microsoft had quite stringent criteria about what it could and couldn’t do because it builds on and interacts with the Microsoft platform in many ways.”
