Canon Australia has continued its marketing staff hiring run with the appointment of Russell McNamara as channel marketing manager.
He will be responsible for the vendor’s corporate and government accounts.
According to Canon, McNamara previously worked at Fuji Xerox as its Office software marketing manager for two years.
The vendor claimed six new employees had been brought on during the past three months within the channel marketing team.
“The growth of our partners and expansion of the business channel marketing team cements our commitment to supporting our open channel strategy and increasing customers’ access to Canon,” channel development manager, Nick Wilson, said in a statement.
“With a strong grasp of print management software, Russell will play a vital role in bringing Canon’s managed document services to these channels.”
The hiring is part of Canon’s plan to restructure in Australia by merging the consumer and business divisions to be more channel focused.
