Networking distributor LAN Systems lived up to its reputation for throwing a great party for its partners and staff, even if times are a little tougher than in previous years.
This year the organising committee for LAN Lunacy 2002 didn't skip one detail as they put on a "Back to School" themed shindig at Sydney's Woolloomooloo Bay Hotel. From the hopscotch entry, to the school uniforms, to a science lab for those eager to throw down some shots (here's to Nortel for that round), it certainly brought out the teenager in several guests.
In line for best dressed for the night was managing director Nick Verykios (far left). Verykios drew a raffle which raised money for youth suicide prevention charity "Here For Life". One lucky punter scored himself a signed, framed Wallabies jersey and tickets to the Bledisloe Cup.
No doubt there was some debauchery that attending ARN hacks didn't witness. Send your LAN Lunacy stories to email@example.com.
