Israeli-based IT service management software (ITSM) provider, SysAid Technologies, has set up its first office in Australia.
It will be headed up by Pierre Uys, who was previously the head of Help Desk Solutions, a local SysAid partner.
SysAid sales and marketing director, Saar Bitner said the decision to expand into the Australian market was due to its growing customer base. The vendor claims more than 2000 organisations in Australia are using SysAid software.
“Our expansion to Australia will allow us to bridge any geographical gaps with our users there and further our relationship with local SysAiders. We look forward to continued growth in the region and worldwide,” Bitner said.
“Given the time difference and geographical distance creating a local presence in Australia will help improve the service we provide our current customers, attract new organisations and ultimately allow SysAid to better respond to the Australian market's needs.”
The company was founded in 2002 and since then it has managed to accrue a client base reaching more than 60,000 in 127 countries.
Besides providing ITSM, it also supplies customer service support software. Both of these solutions are available on-premise or Software-as-a-Service.
Bitner said it was dominant in the SMB market, but was also going after the enterprise space.
“Our solutions are scalable and adaptable to virtually every company size and industry, so the opportunities are quite vast,” he said.
