Corel Corporation has upgraded its software suite for graphic design, page layout, photo editing and vector animation. CorelDraw Graphics Suite 11 is designed for Windows XP and built for Mac OS X, and for the first time will be available with both Mac and PC versions in the one box. In response to customer feedback, Corel has added a raft of new features to the suite, which include CorelDraw 11, Corel Photo-Paint 11 and Corel Rave 2. It also includes interactive tools, customisation capabilities, support for more than 100 import and export filters and colour management tools. An upgrade will be available to users of previous versions of CorelDraw Graphics Suite for Windows and Macintosh. Corel will also offer an academic version of the software. The software will be available in Australia and New Zealand in early August. The full suite will have an estimated retail price of $A1135. The estimated cost of an upgrade is $530, while the CorelDraw 11 Graphics Suite academic version will carry a price tag of $320.www.corel.com/graphicssuite11.
