Internet sharing made easy with NETGEAR’s new multifunction gateways

<p>Sydney, Australia (December 10, 2003) – NETGEAR (Nasdaq: NTGR), a leading provider of easy to use, high-performance networking products, has launched its new range of multifunction gateways that offer considerable power and flexibility to home and office networks.</p>
<p>NETGEAR’s DG834 ADSL Firewall Router and DG834G 54 Mbps Wireless ADSL Firewall Router combine a variety of products into one unit, including an ADSL modem, router, 10/100 LAN switch, and SPI True Firewall to deliver continuous broadband access to all networked computers.</p>
<p>The DG834G also features an 802.11g access point which provides high-speed wireless capability that is up to five times faster than 802.11b, allowing users to download large files, videoconference, and distribute and play high-quality digital movies, photos, and MP3s with ease.</p>
<p>These gateways plug directly into an ADSL line, ensuring instant connectivity to network resources and the Internet, and offer:</p>

· VPN pass-through ensuring safe connection to business and home networks;
