Internode invades Mount Gambier

The SA-based ISP has installed its own broadband equipment at the regional town near Adelaide, South Australia

Internode has brought its broadband services to Mount Gambier, a regional town located 450km from Adelaide, South Australia. The South Australia-based ISP has installed its broadband equipment at Blue Lake City in Mount Gambier to offer symmetrical ADSL2+ business broadband services.

Internode’s Extreme symmetrical high-speed digital subscriber line (SHDSL) service boasts download and upload speeds from 5-40Mpbs, according to the company.

The ISP has also put in a free Internode wireless hotspot at the town’s public library. Paid wireless hotspots have been installed at the local town hall and, function centre and several other locations.
