CeBIT 2010: OzHosting launches cloud channel program

Cloud provider looking for 80 per cent channel business has unveiled a cloud reseller program in a bid to push 80 per cent of its business through the channel.

It has set-up three cloud reseller programs – Affiliate, Reseller and OEM Partner – and will be specifically targeting the SME space. Through the program, partners will be able to onsell cloud applications such as Microsoft Hosted Exchange and Microsoft Hosted SharePoint.

OzHosting was relaunched in the Australian market at CeBIT last year. General manager of cloud services, Anthony Banek, said it was time to step up, and the reseller side of the business would be a key focus for the service provider going forward.

“You can buy our services online directly, but the systems integrators in the industry have the trusted status with the customer,” Banek said. “We’re targeting 80 per cent of our business to go through the reseller channel.”

OzHosting is targeting the program at systems integrators, Web designers, software developers and VARs.
