NSW Premier, Kristina Keneally, has cut the red ribbon to launch the first day of CeBit Australia 2010. The major industry event will be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre from May 24–26.
It will cover a wide range of keynote topics including the NBN, eGovernment, eHealth, cloud computing and applications.
The exhibition features the latest technologies from a broad section of the tech industry. Dedicated areas include CeBit Security World, retail technology, communications, eHealth, GovTech and Planet Reseller.
The NSW Premier was joined by German Ambassador, Dr Michael Witter, and Global Fairs senior vice-president, Wolfgang Lenarz, at the official opening and ribbon-cutting. ribbon.
Speakers at CeBit 2010 include NBN Co CEO, Mike Quigley, National ICT Australia (NICTA) CEO, Dr David Skellern, and CSIRO ICT Centre director, Dr Ian Opperman.
