MYOB Australia has released MYOB AccountEdge, a small business management solution designed for Mac users. The software has been created to maximise the benefits of the Mac OS X interface. It offers core accounting functions such as GST and BAS, integrated payroll and professional time billing. The program has been designed to work in the same way businesses operate - a user can create a quote for a customer, e-mail it, and then turn it into an order by clicking on an icon. The sales order can then be processed and turned into an invoice and recorded.
MYOB AccountEdge will support Mac OS 8.6 through to Mac OS X. The software is available at Apple Centres as well as selected resellers and will retail for $595.
