Telstra Business has unveiled a range of new mobile cap plans aimed at small business and consumers.
In addition to the $49, $79, $99 and $129 caps, there is now a $159 cap. There are also higher cap allowances from $400 to $2500 per month which includes most national voice and video calls, SMS, MMS and data usage in Australia, and no off-net/on-net differentiation.
The caps include free and un-timed intra-account calling in Australia to other eligible mobiles on the same account, monthly data allowances of between 30MB to 1.5GB for email and Web browsing, and the same call rate for video and voice calls.
SIM only options are available on 12-24 month plans. Telstra is offering bonus credit of up to $30 per month for customers who take a new device with its Mobile Repayment Option. This has the same length term and commences on the same day as the user’s Mobile Cap Member Plan.
The plans are aimed at delivering simpler options and better value to small operators which require one to four handsets to support their business, Telstra said in a statement.
