Fuji Xerox Australia has purchased Victoria-based printing specialist, Triangle Corporation, for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition includes Triangle’s assets and customer base, providing the managed print vendor with access to the wide-format printing market and better penetration of the architectural, engineering and construction verticals.
Triangle also has offices in Queensland, NSW, WA and SA.
In a statement, Fuji Xerox managing director, Nick Kugenthiran, said the acquisition was a key part in its strategy to expand technology and services offerings and develop integrated document services across various industries.
“It also signals a new, aggressive era in which Fuji Xerox Australia is not only consolidating, but increasing our market leadership,” he said.
The vendor would now be able to provide a broad range of services to customers and provide seamless integration, he said. Triangle managing director, Stuart Hardeman, plans to retire once the acquisition is complete.
“We have been working with Fuji Xerox Australia for many years now, having been the sole distributor for the company’s wider format devices, and it seemed a natural fit to sell the business,” he said. “We believe this is a positive move for both companies and that our customers and clients will gain further value as a result.”
Fuji Xerox acquired Kaz Group’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) from Telstra in early 2007.
