IT service provider, ASG (ASX: ASZ) has landed a $41 million deal with the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet (PC&C).
The contract stems from an existing relationship between the two parties and runs over the next nine years . ASG will deliver service desk, desktop, server and network services as well as project services on top of what it is already offering the department.
“ASG has been providing IT services to PC&C since 2004 and we are very pleased to have the opportunity to continue and improve this relationship,” ASG sales and strategic operations chief, Murray Rosa, said in a statement. “We are looking forward to delivering the now expanded services and to leverage our existing knowledge base to develop solutions to meet PM&C’s ever-changing needs.”
The IT service provider has landed $112m worth of new contracts this year including a $23m deal with Western Australia’s Department of Education and a $13m deal with the Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy(DBCDE).
According the company, its contract pipeline stands at more than $450m. It recently posted a $6.5m record net profit for the first half of the financial year.
