Systems integration giant, CSC, has named Gavin Larkings as its new president in Australia.
With three decades of IT experience, he will take over from Nick Wilkinson who is ending his tenure after two years with the company. Wilkinson will be returning to the US and his new position with CSC will be announced in the coming weeks.
Larkings has been with CSC for over 10 years and had recently taken time off to complete a Harvard Advance Management program. He has previously been CSC’s managed services vice president for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Other roles include service delivery vice-president in Australia early on in his career.
"I am delighted with [Larkings'] appointment," Wilkinson said. "His understanding of the Australian market, his commitment to CSC's business here, together with his recent experiences in EMEA and Harvard make him uniquely qualified to drive our strategy into results."
Previously, Larkings has held management roles at the Commonwealth Bank and integration firm, EDS.
He will assume his new title on April 6.
