Two years after Optus launched its Timeless unlimited mobile plan, Telstra has come out with its own uncapped mobile offering.
Telstra’s mobile plan costs $180 per month and includes all standard voice calls, video calls, MMS and SMS to any Australian mobile or landline number. The telco is also offering unlimited message bank diversion and retrieval.
This is the telco’s first unlimited mobile rate plan and is part of the company’s Business Mobile Plus family.
The products are similar to Optus’ Timeless, which includes unlimited voice and video calls as well as unlimited SMS and MMS from $119 per month. Add another $10 and users get unlimited voicemail.
In a bid to lure subscribers from its competitors, Telstra is forking out $540 credit to customers signing on for 24-month contract from another provider. Telstra business executive director, Yasmin Dugan, said the new plans were developed in response to business customer requests.
Telstra FairPlay policy applies to Business Mobile Plus plans.
