Lenovo has released two new ThinkPad Edge notebooks specifically aimed at small business users.
The 14- and 15-inch laptops are part of the vendor’s SMB program and come on the back of the vendor’s success with the 13-inch model.
“We have seen strong demand already for the ThinkPad Edge 13-inch, and we’ll continue to expand the ThinkPad Edge line-up going forward, extending the same leadership in innovation, quality and reliability in SMB that we’re known for with large enterprise customers,” Lenovo product and marketing director, Chris Kelly, said.
The machines start at $1039 and contain fast processing features, wireless options and VoIP capability. They are equipped with a choice of the latest Intel Core i5 and i3 series processors, VoIP features include high resolution cameras and a HD LED screen. It also comes with an array of multimedia with DVD/RW, VGA and HDMI for watching HD content and a 7-in1 multi-card reader.
There is also a spill-resistant contemporary-style keyboard with multi-touch touchpad. To help save busy SMBs time and money, Lenovo also includes ThinkVantage Technologies (TVT) productivity tools such as Rescue and Recovery, which helps recover lost or corrupted files while Access Connections tool helps easily connect and manage Internet connections.
